| I got kinda tired of all the Lambos i modeled lately, so i decided to model Lamborghini's main rival: a Ferrari It's my 4th or 5th Ferrari model i think. FAR from being done, but i thought i'll show it here, 'cause positive comments always motivated me to model more It's being modeled for NFSMW, so no polycount or texture restrictions this time... BTW, anyone knows where to find a good NFSMW converting tutorial?

| Thanks for comments! @Tom You know, my and his F50 are like in different spaces. His was ~7500 polygons, mine is at this moment 4756, and that's just front hood, no headlights and not entirely finished front bumper. Also he had ridiculous NFS4 restriction for textures: 256x256 for the whole car... --------------------------------- This whole week i'm at dad's workplace, so i have limited, if any time for modeling. But i decided to at least show you current build. BTW, on this dad's POS PC took rendering of the detail image (in middle) like 20 minutes + it has only 17" monitor ... I miss my PC already, lol. | |

| @kylej866 If MM2 will handle the full model... @McLaren_3Dcm Well, DeepEx is only very basic in rendering, but it has some neat material setups, so it depends mainly on the end user. Too bad i don't have any coo highres reflection maps. Only my chrome map is good . | |

| Weird shadows on the newly modeled headlights, but that's mainly because of the current raytracer/light combination. Also, DE isn't very ''kind'' to lowpoly models... Maybe i'll figure it out later | |

| Thanks for comments . @Tom Still finiding right material, it will be better as i make myself more similiar with DE . @McLaren_3Dcm Hmm, wire pics... I sweared to myself that i'll never ever post any wire of my model on a forum. Catch me on MSN or ICQ/QIP if you really want to see them @kylej866 Right now it's about 12k and i have to squeeze the whole car without wheels into 65k if i want to drive it in WR2. BTW, it won't be possible to convert it to MM2, it's gonna have like 6 or 7 textures where almost each has size of 1024x1024. Right now i use 4... ---------------------------- Modeled the hard top, windshield and rubber surrounding glass both in front and back (the rubber is fully 3D, it just isn't seen on the pics ) Also a bit remodeled the front hood, it should be more accurate now, but it's not finished yet though . | |
