Re : CGA 2nd 3D contest

hello dear members !


well, from what i've seen, the American muscle cars contest was really nice, but a lot of members lost their models and the contest was canceled because of that .

i've decided to start a new one with some changes, this time i think the topic is something very intresting !

the Idea is to do Racing cars : Le Mans cars ; GTR cars ; Drift cars ; DTM ;WTCCcars ...


please share with us your opinions !
then we will decide .

I vote for drift cars

I think its a good idea. You can keep the theme as "racing" and people can choose if they want "GTR" or "Drift" or whatever.

Maybe a lot of people will come back too. The forums seem empty now that the last contest is over.

the forum is empty because i don't post here anymore ! i've been busy working lately with university , but soon i'll have some free time !

I'm up for it,although not sure what model to pick atm.

I agree with the Silent's idea. Make a racing car is a good idea (everyone decides the class).

By the way, it's the third contest from CGA (1st was Lamborghini, 2nd was Muscle cars)

@ Riva :first thx ,well it's the 3rd but the 2nd was canceled, so it's the 2nd .

i'll soon write the rules and prepare everything to let modelers know about the contest .

Contest goal :

The Racing Cars.
Feel Free to choose any you want .

Contest rules :

A 3D contest, for who ?

1. every member from the CG Arab forum (free registration) .
2. the modeling skill level doesn't matter .


When ?

It will start next week.
The registrations are open .

Main rules :

1. no limit about your choice (except of course the theme of this contest.).
2. the vehicle must have 4 wheel ( which mean a car and not bike or whatever ) .
3. inside parts are optional, only the external parts (body, wheels, details) will be considered for the poll ;
4. respect the other members, don't be an assh*le ;
7. no limit about the 3D software ;
8. don't steal or use parts from another project.
9.You are not allowed to start the project till the contest start.
10. polygons limit : anything under 80k with the 4 wheels .

End of Contest :

4 weeks after the starting and it will be extended if needed .
