CG Arab (2nd) 3D contest

Contest goal :

The American Muscle Cars.
Feel Free to choose any you want.

Contest rules :

A 3D contest, for who ?

1. every member from the CG Arab forum (free registration) .
2. the modeling skill level doesn't matter .


When ?

It will start by the end of next week.
The registrations are open .

Main rules :

1. no limit about your choice (except of course the theme of this contest.), no polygons limit ;
2. the vehicle must have 4 wheel ( which mean a car and not bike or whatever ) .
3. inside parts are optional, only the external parts (body, wheels, details) will be considered for the poll ;
4. respect the other members, don't be an assh*le ;
7. no limit about the 3D software ;
8. don't steal or use parts from another project.
9.You are not allowed to start the project till monday 03/08/2009.

End of Contest :

i was thinking about 4 weeks after the starting and it will be extended if needed .

Here you can post your choosed car for the contest

I suggest ALL kind of cars, imports, muscles and everything!

What about an american cars contest too ? Muscle and recent e.g.

Chevy, Ford, Mustang, Chrysler, Saleen and many more.

But to be honest, maybe you should find an unique rule for this contest but not limited to the car choice IMO.

I agree to Riva totally, If you limit someone to a car choice, he won't show his best work

well i've longly been thinking about muscle and american cars .


so let's see how many people agree on having American cars as a topic of the Contest ...

Actually I don't mind doing American muscle but it depends on the polycount. If its low or medium polycount then its good & the contest could get tough but higher polycount then I don't know let's see

and if make a contest of exotics cars but tuned example
Bmw=hamann or AC Lamborghini =Imsa edo competition or hamann Porsche=gemballa techart Mercedes-benz = brabus Ferrari =novitecrosso and Maserati edo competiton i think this is good and cool idea for a contest 3D or create your own >.<

i'm thinking about the camaro from Transformers movie .

A few questions:

When will the contest start exactly? And end date? Minimum picture requirements (jpeg or png ...etc, wireframes or renders...etc) ?

Also, since youre doing the Camaro (and I want you to do it because it will be well-made and its one of my favourite cars), I want to choose something else. Is is ok to do concept muscle cars? I'm interested in the Plymouth Road Runner concept.

LOL and I was going to do that same Camaro from Transformers. Its a good thing that I am doing a classic muscle car

as for the car you are free to choose any muscle car you want , but it should be in real life .
