Wanted to ask you, how do you chamfer ? Adding thin polylines ?

Thanks guys Wink

@Jaguara
Basically yes. But it's more than that. For example, a classic chamfer is made of 2 close rows of polygons, which makes a chamfered part look sharp. The more these two rows are closer to each other, the more sharp effect you get, with two rows further away, you get the opposite. There's also a possibilty to use just one row: so the part that ''shorter'' polygons to the chamfer is fading away (bright normals towards the chamfer, darker further away). One row is for example used for seams. Speaking of seams, once you do them, you have to detach the whole part (for example hood) and then recalculate all, so you won't get odd normals.
BTW, in Zmod 1, you have to use brake tool and then (re)model the row and surrounding polygons. It takes a lot of time but the result is fantastic.

Woot, amazing start, looks very realistic, good job for the headlights.

BTW the chamfer method is perfect if you use also the normals tuner + some polys detaching.

Don't worry, I know that you know what I mean rabbit

It's just a quick tutorial (for those who don't know) to know more about this technique.

Anyway great update WB, looks so sexy.

Thanks guys, but i have some bad news. My PC died yesterday, and i have no back up nor can connect HDD's to this secondary PC (you just can't connect SATA II to IDE, heh), so i have to wait for that servis guy to pick it up tomorrow and then just wait till he'll fix it. If it's gonna cost more than 30 Euro, than i have to wait till 18th for my paycheck, 'cause i'm broke from buing that Xbox 360 Elite and few games... Sad

Anyways, luckily i have saved some pics (not from the latest build which has fully modeled and textured taillights No ):

BTW, these pics are not renders, just taken in a program that has better real-time rendering optimized for OpenGL than Zmod...
