| Thanks guys @Jaguara Basically yes. But it's more than that. For example, a classic chamfer is made of 2 close rows of polygons, which makes a chamfered part look sharp. The more these two rows are closer to each other, the more sharp effect you get, with two rows further away, you get the opposite. There's also a possibilty to use just one row: so the part that ''shorter'' polygons to the chamfer is fading away (bright normals towards the chamfer, darker further away). One row is for example used for seams. Speaking of seams, once you do them, you have to detach the whole part (for example hood) and then recalculate all, so you won't get odd normals. BTW, in Zmod 1, you have to use brake tool and then (re)model the row and surrounding polygons. It takes a lot of time but the result is fantastic. | |
