Here is what i have so far. It seems i am not using quite as many polys as you guys :/. Well tell me what you guys think so far.




thing i have done:
-made textures
-front done

things to do
-finish model
-texture
-send images to WESTBLADE
-convert to MM2

Hey, that's extremly lowpoly for sure, though it keeps looking good. But is suggest to add way more details, after all, the poly limit is 35.000, not 13.500 Wink

Well, ok, but nexttime use more refference pics, this Diablo GT is totally off. I guess you used that extremly inaccurate blueprint from smcars, right?
Anyways, if you can't model without blueprints, for R-GT use these: http://www.smcars.net/forums/lamborghini/7947-lamborghini-murcielago-r-gt.html . They seem quite accurate... well, the whole front at least is.

i have decided to continue with the Diablo instead of doing the R-GT to prevent copying Riva. I have done alot i will post some renders soon Smile

UPDATE
I have finished the main body of the Diablo GT







The picture quality is surprisingly bad for cinema 4D :/

It is still far from done. I still have some little things to do such as model the headlights (that is why they are solid grey) and add a spoiler etc.

My next big challenge is modeling the interior. I will probably wait a while to do it. Since my model is lower poly then the rest of the competition i am a little ahead.

Not bad. Could use some normal tuning on the vents, but overall it looks good for low/mid poly.

Take the time to fix the normals before to make some C4D renders Kyle.

Hint : try to export from ZM1 your 3D model in *.x format (not *.3ds) then with Deep Exploration, save this *.x to *.obj and finally from C4D, import this *.obj.

Cool this is the fastest contest I've seen Neutral the car looks prety good a lil more polyes on the pillars Wink

btw you should make the badge 3d not with alpha bounce

Well, if you look closely it's not even with alpha channel, it's just the logos with black background cyclops

Obviously i have no chance at all of winning the contest with that car. It is just too low poly and not really my best model. I have been working on a new model and no one is doing this model (i hope Embarassed). It is going to be wayy higher poly. It is a Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640. I will post some renders sometime today or tomorrow.

Well, my Edo LP710/2 is basically an LP640 with just different sideskirt intakes, wheels, muffler tip, two-colored paint and added spoiler...rabbit

As promised the latest renders. I have had the last few days off and spent most of the time on the model to to the fact that i was wayyyy behind. But im pretty much caught up now. Here are some C4D renders. I took a tutorial to make them better so tell me what you guys think.

looks quite accurate,but if i were you,i'd use a bit more polies on the doors,cause if i'm right, you used one column only.

thanks Smile. The light glass did not show up as transparent in C4D as in zmodeler. So I used a tool in photoshop to lighten them up. So that is why they have a white tint.
